The shoot was inspired by the beautiful interior of Boscundle Manor, a boutique style hotel and grounds. Classically decorated Farrow & Ball walls & dark wooden floors gave the perfect setting for a romantic intimate wedding ceremony. The main entrance portico covered in a flower arch leads us into the manor.
The flowers reflect a classic soft vintage pastel palette of silver green grey, ivory, blush pink and a touch of the palest lilac blush. Brookside Flower Farm captured the very essence of this romantic and vintage luxury wedding shoot. Roses are a symbol of true love and each colour has a special meaning. Blush pink signifies Joy and happiness, lavender for enchantment love and adoration together with ivory for richness and perfection.
The combination full of scent texture and delicate colour included Roses. Lilac Wax flower with its pretty delicate petals and citrusy aroma Snowberries in a delicate blush. Plum shades and star like flowers of Astrantia with silver Brunia berries. Grasses and seeded eucalyptus add a layer of foliage. The roses used were, Quicksand; Memory Lane, and White Chocolate.
The flowers are carried through to the fire-place, which sets the scene for an intimate romantic ceremony. Simple glassware give the table setting a sophisticated look with roses and trailing foliage under lit with church style candles.
A modern twist is again given to the grooms love of cars with an open top wedding car. Decorated with a garland of flowers, vintage Just married sign & the old tradition of vintage style trailing tin cans; giving a nod to the couples sense of fun.
